Dubai Guide
Dubai is a surreal clash of tradition and progression. In under one hundred years this city has transformed itself from a small seaside town to a sprawling, fast paced and modern city. Dubai is an enchanting place to visit, and the first time you see the gorgeous skyline of the city from your Dubai hotel, you'll be hooked.

Hotels in Dubai are plentiful, so you will have no problem finding the perfect place to stay during your visit. Dubai hotels are located throughout the city, as well as on the beachfront. In fact, the resorts on the beaches were growing so fast in recent years that the city built artificial islands off the coast of the city, creating over 120 Km in new beaches in the process.

Dubai is a very international city, and its cuisine reflects this enormously. While there are not a lot of dishes that are exclusive to Dubai, the eateries provide a fusion of dishes from the surrounding countries, from Chinese, Filipino to Indo-Pakistani.

The city's architecture alone is worth the trip. Make sure to just wander around the city, gazing at the fantastic and unusual buildings, and don't forget to bring your camera. The beaches are also worth visiting, where you can sip on a cold drink under the shade of the date palms. Many of the beaches are property of their nearby resorts, but there are lots of public beaches to choose from.

The Dubai museum should not be missed. Featuring numerous exhibits on local history, it is a fascinating way to spend the day. To see the artists of Dubai, head to the Majlis Gallery, where numerous local artists and crafters have their works on display.

The Souqs of Deira are a feast for the senses. Walk through these markets and smell the aromatic waves of spices, admire the clothing and henna, or have a sari made specially for you.

Many of the Dubai hotels and resorts provide entertainment at night in their bars and clubs. The city is also full of theatres, cinemas, restaurants and coffee houses to go to before returning to your hotel for the night.

Dubai is fast becoming a popular exotic destination. We offer a good selection of Dubai hotels with competitive rates making your holiday or business planning that bit simpler. For a budget hotel in Dubai consider the Ramee Hotel Apartments. This hotel offers comfortable accommodation close to the main attractions. One of the best situated hotels in Dubai for shopping and business travellers is the Ramee Hotel International which is in the heart of the business district and close to a main shopping center. A Dubai hotel offering luxury resort accommodation is the Le Meridien Dubai. This is one the many hotels in Dubai with high standard facilities and it is located amongst lush gardens.
